I understand that the preferred method of managing task updates is to open
the schedule from Project Pro and not to use the link in Project Web Access.
If this is the case can someone jot down a step by step process, with actions
and expected results for each action. I had a PM do an update in the manner
shown below and the schedule came back blank. I did not get to see this and I
do not know if switching to another view would have refreshed the screen and
provided the information but I want to make sure I understand the preferred
process before moving forward to work with this PM.
1. Opened project from projserv.
2. Dialog of pending updates displayed.
3. Selected review of update schedule impact.
4. Closed preview.
5. Selected update.
6. Result display of update screen with no pending updates.
7. Closed update screen.
8. Project displayed was a blank schedule.
