Task Updates E-Mail

I have 2 resources out of over 50 experiencing problems
when trying to access PWA from the e-mail link included
in notifications. They receive
http://ServerName/ProjectServer/Tasks/Taskspage.asp?
AllTasks=1&FilterBy=9&GanttView=0, and there are no tasks
listed for them. However, if they exit IE, access PWA
from their favorites (or typing in the address, etc.) and
check their tasks at
http://ServerName/projectserver/Tasks/TasksPage.asp?_oid=-
1 all their tasks are available.

Is there a fix for this, or a way to edit what the URL
sent in the e-mail is?

Can anyone help with this??

I'm having the same problem. The link PWA puts in the e-
mail sets up a filter to display only "Tasks pending
manager's approval". That's not what should be
displayed. If there were updates to be approved, I
wouldn't have sked for a progress update! It should
show "All Tasks".

This looks like a bug - is it fixed in an update, or is
there a way to manually edit the default e-mail that gets
sent?

You can edit the PWA e-mail notifications by using the Project Server 2002
e-mail notification SDK found at:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d.../en-us/pdr/PDR_Project_Server_E-mail_3348.asp

or by going into SQL Server Enterprise Manager, opening up the
MSP_WEB_CONVERSIONS table (return all rows) and editing the CONV_STRING that
corresponds to the
"http://ServerName/ProjectServer/Tasks/Taskspage.asp?AllTasks=1&FilterBy=9&GanttView=0"
link - I think it's CONV_VALUE = 407
