Task Updates step

Hi, since many of our PMs are also the timesheet managers. We are wondering
if there is a way to eliminate the Task Update step. In other word, once the
PM/Timesheet managers approved the timesheet, without go thru. the approval
for task updates, all the actual will still update to the project plan.

Nope, this is not possible. Microsoft has separted these two approvals
because in many organizations the Timesheets are approved by functional
managers and task updates are approved by project managers, both of which
are independent groups of people. You will need to teach your PMs to do
both sets of approvals. Hope this helps.
