Task Usage view

I have a level 7 schedule. Most Resources are assigned to level 6 & 7 and
appear under the task on the task usage view. The project manager resource
is assigned to a level 2 task but does not appear under the task in the task
usage view. Why?

Hello Nova85,

Well, that's not what usually happens. When you look at the Task Usage
view, assignments (represented by resource names) show up. Is the task
collapsed up so the assignment row is hidden? Click the Show button and
choose All Tasks.

Also helpful to know would be what release (including service pack) of MS
Project are you running? I was unable to replicate what you reporting using
Project 2003 with SP-3.
