Task Window crashing

This just started today - whenever I "Create Task from Message" either by the script menu or [CTRL]+T, the task's window will crash/disappear after 10 seconds or so. Any ideas?

Any ideas?It's worse than I thought. Even if I create a task by hand, the window will close. Worse yet, if I then open a newly created task, give it a few seconds, not only will the task's window crash, but the task itself disappears!

Create a new Identity in Entourage. Test there. This will indicate if your
database is corrupt and/or if you have a corrupt task. We have had similar
reports for Calendar window where a bad event caused this behavior.

Are these tasks "On My Computer" or on Exchange server?

If you have just the Exchange account, I would recommend that you just use
the new Identity.

Thanks. I had already started rebuilding the db when I received your reply. The rebuild seems to have fixed the issue.
