Task Workflow organisation in Project

I am new to Project 2003 and want to know if anyone could help me to organise
the workflow so my tasks list in date order?

It would depend on what view you were looking at, but let's assume it's
the Gantt chart.

Simply right click on the top of whichever date column you want to sort
by and click Sort By.

Ah the detail is left as an exercise to the reader (I used to lecture in
mathematics - old habits die hard).
