I changed back to ON 2003, but cannot get ON to show up on my taskbar (tried
Tools | Options | Other | Will not work, and I cannot get it on my open at
start up or get it listed in my msconfig file. Help! I love that feature.

I seem to recall that it might take one or two additional attempts to get
it to stick in a reinstall situation.

Go back into Tools | Options | Other and turn off the "Place OneNote
icon..." option. Then hit OK and then close OneNote. Verify in Task
Manager that neither ONENOTE.EXE nor ONENOTEM.exe are running in the
Processes Tab.

Then restart OneNote and go back in and turn on the "Place OneNote icon..."
option. Does it appear then after clicking OK?

Is there a ONENOTEM.EXE program running in Task Manager? Do you have the
Hidden Icons feature turned on for your Notification Area?

Did all of below. I even checked to see I had all the features turned on
through control panel | MS One Note | Change. All are working, but I did
notice that I can drop a new side note window to my status bar and That's
all I can accomplish. I tried to reload the whole program, but now that is
giving me trouble. Oh. woe is me!!!
