Taskbar Location Detection

G

Grumpa

I'm one of a dozen or so users (or close approximation) who puts my Taskbar
across the TOP of my screen (It impresses the MAC users when I have to show
them how to use a 3 button mouse) and EVERY time I run Visio, it hides the
title bar UNDER the Taskbar. It does NOT remember where I last left it when
I closed it down.

I read the answer to the Office User with two screens - "learn how to use
the move option" - and think this is really a good point but somewhat
irritating - especially to us Olde COBOL types. Wouldn't it be a little more
professional if the system made sure the opening program Title Bar was
somewhere in the viewable area?

I normally move and reset (move it back to the top) or resize (twice) the
Taskbar to get Visio and many other (non-MS) programs to show their Title
Bar. If it's not that popular a requirement, at least give us an option to
force all programs to show their Title Bar in the viewable area. It's an
accumulative aggravation and APPEARS (not necessarily reality) to be
unprofessional (aka sloppy) programming.

Thanks...
