Tasking - Automatically sends emails through 2 the asignee - how 2

Hi,

I am the supprt for a company who uses the outlook tasking alot. Here's the
situation -

A task is asigned to a user and accepted. that user then opens the task,
leaves the window open, works on the task and eventually either manually
updates it or closes it. While the window is open though, outlook is
automatically sending updates through the the asignee as emails and not
deleting these.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to stop this. Outlook is fully updated,
reparied and I have even tried to recreate the clients profiles... but as
more people use tasking this way, more users are having the same issue.
