TaskPad View-Calendar Date Specific

We are having a problem with the TaskPad view for Active Tasks on Selected
Dates. With Franklin Covey add-on software, the tasks in the TaskPad View
are date specific (you highlight a date on the calendar, and the tasks that
are due or past due on that date are shown); but that does not appear to be
the case with Outlook calendar. The tasks on the TaskPad do not change when
we select different dates. If TaskPad goes by start dates, then different
tasks should appear on selected dates. We have our start dates set. What do
we need to do to make the TaskPad view for specific dates work?

Without the Franklin add-in it works this way:

Set a Start and Due Date for each Task.
Use Active Tasks for selected days.
Tasks appear in the TaskPad on Start Date and go Red a day after Due date.

That works every time for all of my clients. So if it's not working for
you, maybe talk to the Franklin software guys.
