Tasks arrive 1 week late in e-mail

We are having a problem with e-mailing tasks. One user has been getting
tasks 1 week later, another user gets them 1 - 2 hour later. The boss gets
his tasks immediately. Is this an ISP problem? Could it be that the boss
is the main mailbox at the ISP and the others are under that mailbox?

This is really frustrating. Does anyone know how this can be resolved?
