Tasks created by one user show up in another users Outlook

I'm looking into this problem for a company that has their own Exchange
server. The problem is that one user is creating tasks in Outlook and
some of them are winding up in someone elses Outlook. When this happens
they are no longer available in her Outlook and just appear in the
other users task list. She does have access to the other users Calendar
and task but she does not have his task list open. She's not moving
them into his calendar and she's not assigning them to him.

Has anyone every had this happen?

They are using Outlook 2003.

Can you reproduce this? These aren't assigned tasks, are they?
What delegate settings do you see in each user's mailbox in Outlook?

No we haven't been able to reproduce it. It's only happening to about
10% of the tasks that she creates and we haven't been able to figure
out what might be different in those times. This was something that has
been going on for about a month or so but they didn't notice it right
away.

I don't believe they are assigned tasks because she says she's not
assigning them and if she was they should show up in his inbox for him
to approve and these just show up in his task list. Plus when they do
end up in his list it shows that he is the owner of the task.

I'm not sure what you mean by delegate settings, where would I find
these settings?

Try looking in Tools | Options | Delegates (for both of 'em).
