tasks do not print correctly

I have formatted my tasks to show the shape as a lower half fat bar and the
pattern as Outlined. The task is initially empty and when the % complete is
filled in the task bar fills in appropriately.

My problem is that everything looks fine on the screen but when I go to
print the Gantt Chart the Outlined portion of my task bars don't show up. So
if I have a task that is 0% complete all I see is the start and end shapes
that I have defined but no outlined empty task bar.

I have asked several people here at work and they are all as stumped as me.

Can anybody help?

How does it look in print preview? If it's fine in print preview, but not on
paper it is more than likely a printer driver problem: try downloading the
latest driver from your printer's site.

If you are using Project 2007 without latest service packs, try turning off
the 3-D
display of the Gantt bars. See Tools > Options, View tab.

My experience of this problem was that it was the horizontal lines in the
Gantt area that didn't print. Vertical lines + fill areas were OK.

Genius. This worked beautifully.
