tasks in outlook

I have copied Outlook & Business Contact Manager on to my laptop but though
my emails and contacts have transferred fine, the Tasks list and Calendar
items linked from BCM have not come through. What should I have done?

Which version of BCM is installed and how did you transfer that data. BCM
uses it's own store.

BCM version 1.00.2002.08 (Outlook 2003 with BCM SP1), I did an export of a
..PST of all folders/subfolders under Personal Folders then an export of the
Accounts then Contacts folders for BCM, then imported to the laptop.

I'd first update to BCM 2 - Office Update should have it. back-up your
database when it tries to convert it.
The BCM database can be exported via File | Import and Export | Business
Contact Manager for Outlook. It can be imported via a similar method. Just
exporting and importing the BCM Contacts folder won't work. You might still
have issues with links to the local PST after you import the db but will, at
least, have the full database.

Brilliant, that was the problem, as soon as I updated to BCM2 it all sorted
itself out on the next import.
