Tasks in proposals disappearing

One of my users has just entered a proposal with tasks contained and also
with entries in the custom fields. When the proposal appears for approval
none of the data has come across.

The only information showing is in the Summary page which shows the Name and
Description.

We are using Project Server 2007 SP1 with post SP Hotfix.

Verify whether the user had entered any invalid data into one of the custom
fields. For example text into a date or cost field. This can behave
strangely and doesn't necessarily give the user any errors, but does clear
out the changes they made to the form. See if this issue your user ran into

It seems to be happening to all users. We are having the additional issue with converted proposals requesting percentage complete instead of Work Completed.
