Common tasks like Save and Undo have suddenly disappeared from my MS Word
Toolbar. How do I get them back?

Kathy17,
You have accidentally hidden the toolbar. To bring it back, right mouse
click at the top of the screen (grey area), which will bring up a list of
available toolbars. Left mouse click on the Standard toolbar. It should then
re-appear.

No, the Standard Toolbar has not been deleted. It is still there. However,
the Save option has disappeared from the "File" drop-down menu and "Undo" has
disappeared from the "Edit" drop-down menu.
