Tasks moving beyond the project start

Sometimes when I open a project I get a warning that a specific task starts
before the starting date of the project. And when I check I realize that a
task has moved of streched untill it starts before the begining of the
project.
Often my attempts to rectify the situation will be dismised when I reopen
the project file.

I have MS Project 2007 sp2 and we run Project Server 2007 sp1

Hi Yemella,

You need to give a bit more information regarding these tasks. What
constraints are set on them? What is the task type? Have actuals been entered
by the resources to dates before the project start?
