I have some tasks that I have chosen to accept the
updates on, clicked "update" and the project file
launches and updates (one way I know this is because
there are 2 new task requests whose tasks keep being
created every time I click update.)
I then save the project file, all seems well in the
world, but the tasks remain on my Web Access view, with
that "flag" icon next to them indicating I need to save
the project file. I have saved the project file.
Numerous times by now! In addition, I can't change the
status of the tasks from "accepted" to anything else, so
when I click Update I keep getting the two new tasks
created on the plan, which is a problem because one of
them was erroneously entered by the resource.
All of these tasks are one resources' tasks and they are
all on the same project file. I have had problems in the
past with multiple versions of files on the network
related to the "save as" known defect in Project, but I
don't believe that is the case this time as I have
cleaned up the database and am installing the patch to
prevent this from happening in the future.
Any help anyone? Thanks in advance -
