Tasks not showing up on my tasks

I have a person who is not seeing assigned tasks - can someone cite the
reasons...we know proposed vs committed, date period.

Other ideas?

Check the assignment owner for the user. This is done is PWA within Edit the
user. It should not be blank, it should be set to the user.

Also, presumably the project is published?
Can you see the work via the resource centre?

Let us know.

hi,

same problem here..however i checked the assignment owner and it is blank..same for the timesheet..

what seems to be stranged happening is that the publisher of the plan is the who is seeing the tasks if the publisher goes to My Tasks page although the Resource Name columns still displays the original assignments..

hope you can reply soon..thanks!

Raymond:

You need to set the default assignment owner for the resources, as Ben told
the previous poster. If you have already used resources without assignment
owners, then you need to set the assignment owner value in the plans that
have these resources. Note, that if you use Generic resources, these
assignments will always show on the PM's My Tasks page as generic resources
do not accept assignment owners in their setup.
