Tasks not showing up

Steve Lundwall

I have been using Server for quite a while and never had this problem. I
have been creating projects, assigning resources from the Global Resource
pool and Publishing them (Yes, Collaborate> Publish> All Information or
Republish Assignments) and all is well. However, with these last two
projects the Tasks do not show up on anyone's Task list and the server
doesn't even send out the email about new assignments. The Projects do show
up in the Project List.

Nothing has changed. We didn't change servers, or permissions or anything.
It just all of a sudden stopped working.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I did take an existing project and create a task for myself and rebulish
assignments. The email wnet out and it showed up on the Task sheet.

However, I am having problems with these two new projects. Server just won't
publish the tasks. Any ideas.

team members is set to Proposed, change it to Committed, then click OK and
publish the project again.

2. If no to #1 above, do you see errors in the s

Stupid laptop. It sent my response before I finished writing it. Here's
the rest:

2. Are there errors in the server's application Event log for the server
that hosts Project Server. If so, let us know the specific errors.

Hope this helps.

Dale,

That did it. All the resoures somehow got changed to Proposed. I have no
idea how. I changed them to Committed and republished and all is fine.
Thanks for the help. You guys are the best.
