Tasks not visible to resources

I am new to Ms Project. After setting up the Project 2007 server, I have set
up my team resources and then published my MS Project Professional file on
the server. On the PWA site, I somehow see all the tasks under 'My Tasks",
although the resource column is showing these tasks assigned to my team
members. If I re-assign a task from here, it goes to the Administrator of the
server for acceptance and even after that does not appear on the Task Updates
area of the relevant resource. If the assigned tasks never become visible to
my resources, how can they accept/reject these assignments? Furthermore, if I
go into the Resource Center and select a resource and click 'View
Assignments", MS Project correctly shows all the assignments for that
resource.

I have been at it for some days, trying to solve this issue. Help is
appreciated.

In setting up Project Server 2007, as a "newbie" you failed to specify a
Default Assignment Owner value for each resource in the Enterprise Resource
Pool. To set this now in retrospect, you will need to edit each resource
individually from the Resource Center page in PWA and set each resource as
his/her Default Assignment Owner. This will solve the problem in future
projects, but to resolve this situation in your current project, add the
Assignment Owner field in the Resource Usage view and then specify each
resource as his/her own Assignment Owner for each task assignment. Hope
this helps.

Dale,
Thanks for your response. I was able to solve the problem. Changing
assignment owner for all resources in the Resource center was not enough. I
had to open the project file in the Project client, manually change assigned
to values and republish. Once this was done there were no further problems.
