Does anyone know how to include the task notes as part of the Export to Excel
from the timesheet screen?
Problem: many users include Notes with their Tasks Updates and these get
posted to the project as expected. They are Visible for the individual user
on their timesheet screen. However, when they export their Timesheet info for
purpose of creating a Timesheet to send to accounting it would be helpful to
have their comments added to the exported data as a refresher on "what was I
doing" - I tried to modify the timesheet view and added something called
Comments as could not find anything called Notes - the comments field only
has integers - most I saw were either 0 or 2. Can not figure out how to
export the Notes Text.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
PS: Does anyone know if there are any 'in-depth" books available that might
have this type of info? Most of the EPS2003 books I have reviewed are very
high level and on Application Adminstration which is not all that helpful.
Already been there a while and learned by intial setup and "seat of the
pants" method....Need a true daily operations helping resource with focus on
utilizing and manipulating PWA features - not sure what if any books would be
good for this purpose.
