tasks; task timeline:

Lookin up

From the task timeline view; is there a way that I can change the date of the
task by dragging it along the timeline? It doesn't appear to work, but maybe
I'm missing something. If not, is there at least a way to change the date
without opening each task to the detailed view? (maybe open multiple tasks
and change the date of all opened tasks?). I look forward to your response.

I'm not aware of a way to change task due dates en masse through the
timeline view (or any other view) except if you group by the Due Date. If
you select a view such as To-Do List or Simple List or similar from View |
Current View, you can go into View | Current View | Customize Current View
to set the Group By... options. Group the items by Due Date, and then you
can drag and drop items on new dates. Keep in mind, however, those future
dates will only display if there are existing items with that date set as
the Due Date.

Timeline doesn't support in cell editing so you can't drag and drop.

Create a custom Day/week/month view for the tasks folder and then you can
drag them to different dates in the month view to change the due date.
Using a group by due date view also works.
