Tasks View not available on user homepage in Project Web Access

Sam Garber

After a new installation of Project Server 2003, I created a project, some
resources, and tasks. I assigned tasks to the resources and was able to
publish to the Project Server. I am able to view the project via Project Web
Access, but I am not able to see any tasks assigned to myself or the other
resources when I log in as them to Project Web Access.

The project is an enterprise project, and the resources are enterprise
resources, the resources are commited and they are assigned to the Project
Server workgroup.

Project 2003 Sp2 is installed.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

A couple of questions:

1. Did you create the resources in the Enterprise Resource Pool by clicking
Tools - Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Resource Pool and then adding
the resources to the pool? If so, did you add the resources to the project
team by clicking Tools - Build Team from Enterprise and then selecting the
team members?

2. When you say you published the project, did you actually click
Collaborate - Publish - All Information or Collaborate - Publish - New and
Changed Assignments?

Both of the above conditions must be true before team members can see their
tasks in the PWA timesheet. Let us know.
