Task's will not baseline

I am using project server 2007. I ran across something I have not seen before.
Task's with 1 day or greater duration (not milestones) and having no
resources assigned, will not baseline. The setting was to baseline the
entire project plan. Can anyone explain why this may be ocurring?

I posted this here because I believe baselining is basic feature of project
and has nothing to do with me running in server.

What do you mean when you say the "will not baseline"? Which baseline number
are you saving to? Is a message displayed? Is there data in the baseline
fields? Without knowing that it is not possible to figure out what is
happening.

You mentioned that you are using Project Server. There is a setting on
Project Server to not allow people other than administrators to save
baselines. Perhaps that is set in your environment.

Post some of the details I have questions about above and let me know what
the symptoms are. That will help to figure this one out.
