tasks will not schedule automatically with SNET constrain 2002

when I schedule tasks the constraint changes to a start no earlier than date
which is ok and what I would expect , however if i then schedule all
incomplete work forward it will not schedule any task with a start no earlier
constraint even though the date is later this does not seem logical and I
can,t seem to find a setting in any of the options to correct this .As many
of the tasks are been moved back it means changing this constraint on them
individually this did not occur in earlier versions and makes the scheduling
very time consuming any advice would be very welcome
does anyone else suffer with this i think i did read that this was a problem
with 2002 and a service pack should cure it but cant find anymore information
about it. where does microsoft now store the pages which use to show all
known clitches in its programs

If that's not your case, then do you have any other constraints on tasks
linked to the tasks in question that could interfere or has actual progress
been entered for them? If actual work has been entered the reschedule tool
will not move it, only effecting the unworked portion of the tasks. Another
possibility is you have neglected to change the date the tasks are to be
slipped out to.
