teacher wanting to delete menu items

I am a teacher. I can use Word 2000, S1, or XP. I would however, prefer to use 2000. Is their a way that I can disable draw on Word. I would like to be able to stop students from using other menu items or command buttons. Is their a way? Maybe I need to delete some files? Maybe a registry change? I know how to use system policy editor. Their is a template for word, but you have to know the visual basic code for the command in order to disable the comand (I think).
