Team Assignment -- assigned to Publisher

I setup Team Assignements.

Assigned Team Members to a Team, Created Generic Team Resources (Boys and
Girls) and assigned to Team.

In my project schedule if Jesse assigns task to Boys Team -- which includes
Jesse & Conor, then Jesse sees this task on My Tasks and Conor sees this task
in Self-assign Team Tasks. Jesse is on the Boys Team, but Jesse shouldn't
see task in My Tasks should he?

In my project schedule if Jesse assigns task to Girls Team -- which includes
Susan & Kaila, then Jesse sees this task on My Tasks and Susan & Kaila see
this task in Self-assign Team Tasks. Jesse isn't even on the Girls Team -- so
Jesse shouldn't see this task in My Tasks should he?

This is an out of box install of Project Server 2007 on single server. This
Team Assignment is first thing working on.

Thoughts on why Jesse is seeing Team Assignments on his My Tasks....and how
to fix it?

I don't understand why you're assigning generic resources to a team ! What
are you trying to achieve by doing this ? I would create two team Boys and
Girls then associate named resources to each team.

Is Jesse the default assignment owner of the team ?

Thanks NZ. The default assignment owner for the team was blank. I set the
default assignment owner for the boys team to Jesse and for the girls team to
Susan and all worked as expeced.
