Team Mbrs can't see Projects in Project Center

Teresa

Although team members see tasks in task view in PWA almost immediately, none
is seeing Projects listed in Project Center in PWA. I first thought this was
just a latency issue, but overnight, projects still aren't showing up for
them. TMs should see projects for which they have tasks and tho they can see
Tasks, no Projects. "See PRojects in Project Center" is set to Allow in
Group Permissions, as well as "View Project Center" in Global Permissions.
"Projects" menu option shows up in PWA for TMs but they all see this message:
"You do not have access to any Project Center views. Contact your server
administrator to get your security permissions changed." Does anyone know
where I go to make the needed change?
Thanks.

What categories is the TM group associated to? Whatever category it is,
verify that the category allows TM's to see projects they are team members
of and also verify that Project Center views are visible to that category.
It should be in the modify category view about half way down the page.
There should be at least one project center view on the right hand list.

Here's what you need to do to address your need:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage security
3. Select the My Tasks category and click the Modify Category button
4. In the Projects section, select the Project views you wish team members
to see
5. In the Project Center section, select the Project Center views you wish
team members to see
6. Click the Save Changes button

Hope this helps.

Hi Teresa:

It could be several things. One, are you using an RBS?

Two, navigate in PWA to Admin l Manage Security, and verify that the team
members group has access to the appropriate categories. Within those
categories, make sure that the checkbox that states that they can see
projects on which they are a team member.

If users aren't seeing what they need to, it usually has to do with category
permissions.
