Team Members should not see projects in Project Center but should beable to see them in Project Work

Hello,

Can someone please help me to achieve the following:
1.) Team Members should not be able to see the list of projects in the
"Project Center" that they are assigned to as a Resource.
2.) Team Members should be able to see the list of projects in the
"Project Workspaces" web part on their home page.

I am able to achieve either of the two but not both. For e.g. if I
disallow them (Team Members) to view the list of the projects in the
Project Center by modifying their category(s) then they are deprived
of viewing the projects in the Project Workspaces also.

With my experience on EPM 2007 what I understand is that the security
permissions for Project Workspaces of a resource is directly inherited
from Project Center security permissions for that resource. Please
correct me if I am wrong.

I hope that I have explained my problem clearly or if not then please
let me know.

Deny the global permission "View Project Center" in the team members security
group.

Thank you Paul.

I was able to achieve what I was looking for. However, Deny permission
gives the common WSS error to access the page i.e. "Go back to the web
site".
Is it possible that the user gets the error "There is no view ... "
which is displayed within the Project Center when there are no views
assigned or there aren't any projects for this particular Team Member.

However, thank you once again for your resolution.
