Team Resources falling off Team

We are encountering situations where project team members are disappearing
off teams. Many of the projects that this is happening to are projects that
used to be first iteration of Project Enterprise. We have since converted to
P2003 Pro. These projects have start and end dates from a few years ago, but
I can't seem to find the cause of the problem. I've seen the team member on
the team last week and this week they are gone. Are there thresholds built
in that say if project date = year, remove team member?

Any help would be appreciated

Chris,
Just check if these resources are not inactive.
Admin-Manager users and groups-Modify Uses-Account Stauts
Also make sure that they are not checked out.
Admin-Manage Enterprise Features-Check in resources

Checked that already. They are all active and not checked out. Could there
be a weird filter out there checking dates? We don't use the availability
inside project to control resources, so no one besides myself would be inside
the enterprise resource pool.

Could there be limits on say the project start/end date compard to current
date?
