Office team folks --
I have closely followed the development of the ribbon and I love it. I miss
almost nothing from the old interface. However, the one thing I do want back
are tear-off menus. Specifically the ones which create cell/table borders,
text color and fill color. In O03/XP you could create a small floatie from
the toolbar's drop-down menu that had these options on it. However in 2007 I
find myself have to go and re-access those ribbon dropdowns over and over
again. i would love the tear-off options back!
best,
-Dave
