We are struggling with a strange problem that happens on several PCs running
PowerPoint 2007.
We received a PowerPoint 2003 template (.POT) that contains a single master.
If we look at the master, the first, second and third levels all use Arial 18
(PowerPoint says "Arial (Body) 18"). The first level doesn't use a bullet or
indent. We then install this template by opening it, then using save as |
(PowerPoint 2003 template). The first presentation that we create using this
template seems to be OK, but once we save and open it, the template and the
master design of the presentation that uses it looks very much different: 1st
level now Arial (Body) 32, indent at 1 cm, bullet is a 1 in a black circle
(Wingdings 2, character 117), 2nd level is now Arial (Body) 28, en 3rd level
is Arial (Body) 24. We have manually corrected the slide master, but after
save and open, the wrong layout is back again.
Other templates seem to be OK, so we suspect that it must be something
within the 2003 template.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the cause of this issue? Any help
will be appreciated very, very much!
