Office feature proposal

By Aviv hod
In office (all versions) there is an option to determine many values for a
template, just like to a document.

These values (keywords, author, category) are then implemented into
documents based on that template.
However, many users (like myself) will usually want to save that document
somewhere, and in the case of a document based on a template, this location
is very likely to be the same for all documents based on the same template.
Nowadays, one has to re-trace the path for document saving every time,
unless he created 2 documents subsequently.

My suggestion is – upon creating a template, or editing an existing one, the
user will have the option to define a default path for documents based on
that template.
Surely this will save users time, and raise their levels of satisfaction
from the office product.
This document was created by word 2003.

All rights to the feature would love to be credited in favor of the author.

sorry, but the first few times the browser just hung, and I was sure it
didn't post.
If possible - please delete all post but the first.
And as for 2003 - I am using 2007 as well and don't think the feature is in
there.
Thx

Sorry, once posted, it lives forever (well practically). Swing over to
Google Groups ang search for "avivhod" and you will see what has happened.

As to a template you can put it anywhere you want, and if you put a copy
in the desired destination, you have it covered. Open the template and
select Save, you will find that the document is going into the directory
that the template was in.
