In WORD 2003, under Options/File, there was an option where you could set the
default directories for opening, saving, and templates. Under the template
section, you could establish a different directory than the default. As an
example: We have a network drive the everyone can get into... so we used
that path to allow everyone to see the templates in that file - as well as
the other templates that were in their personal template files. When you
clicked on new, it would pull in all the templates from both the default
template director as well as the templates in the "group" template directory.
Is the availability of changing the directory path not there in 2007? Is so,
I cannot find it. The ability to allow us access to a group template file
was very helpful - so I hope MS has not discontinued it. I hope this makes
sense to someone..... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
