Template for Book Layout

I am trying to find a template that will help me in creating a book. It is
printed on 8 1/2 X 11 paper but when printed it is 8 1/2 high and 5 1/2 wide.
There will be more than one page so page 1 and 2 would be shared with page 55
and 56, if that makes sense. Can anyone direct me to the right area or
template?

The template is irrelevant, actually.

To create a booklet like that on the Mac, set your document up normally
in Word and then use Cocoa Booklet to convert it to a booklet. See the
instructions here (the program is free):
