Template for Eagle Scout Service Project?

We would like to use Project as the principal tool for our Eagle Scout
Candidates to plan and execute their required Service Projects. I'm pretty
new at this and would appreciate any help, advice, and particularly,
templates from any one willing to share their expertise in this endeavor.

While MS Project would be useful in planning any Eagle Scout service
project, the template used would depend greatly on the type of project
chosen. It might be better to have the Scouts create a plan using a template
like this one

and then select a MS Project template for the scheduling and tracking once
they have better defined the project.

Thanks for the response, Steve. We use the interactive version (512-927) of
the 18-396 Workbook, but we're specifically looking for the time- and
resource-management tools that MS Project offers (most specifically, ways to
track the 'follow-up' to an existing plan. We'll continue to work to develop
such a 'generic' Project template, and will keep you apprised of our
progress, but would love to hear from other discussion group members
