TEMPLATE FORMULA ISSUE w/rsjenkins

SUPERFUTURE

I previously submitted a problem with this template.
When using times that go from p.m. to a.m. the existing formula was not
calculating the times correctly.
Beth Melton provided me with a formula change and the problem was fixed.
Although, one more problem still exists: the formula change does not appear
to calculate on the "TIME REPORT TAB"

The biggest problem is even if we were MS employees we couldn't correct the
template since it's a community submitted template.

This was (and still is) my primary "feedback" when opening Office Online to
everyone was still in the idea stages. There's a lot of bad content out
there that no one but the creator can modify. :-(

Excellent point. I make the mistake of assuming that anyone who submits
something would double or triple check the templates. (Even if they did,
it's possible that the error would never be noticed if the logic behind it
is flawed.) It really is a "Caveat Emptor" situation, isn't it?

Oh, I'm sure they probably do check their work prior to submission but how
do you know something is a mistake or incorrect if you think it's right?
;-)

I'm hoping they'll add the ability to comment the templates soon and that
may help out.

Hello, I created the timesheet that you are having problems with. I actually never thought to check it for functionality for second/third shift scenarios as I created it for my coworkers here and we only have a first shift. I will correct this bug and look into the other problem that you mentioned. A comment section for the templates would be great, I just happened to stumble upon this site by chance. I appreciate your feedback!

It's great to know you got the feedback. :) I have heard there are plans to
add a comment ability so I think it's a matter of when.

If you encounter issues in making the corrections here's a great site for
date/time calculations in Excel. It's what I consult anytime I get stuck
since date/time can be a little tricky sometimes. Note there's a topic index
near the bottom for more date/time content:
