I've been making changes to code and running the development version from the
Templates folder. When I had the final version, I put it in the Word\Startup
folder, but it isn't working as I remember the previous one did.
- I had to activate the template under Tools>Templates and Addins, even when
I had started Word fresh. I thought this wasn't needed for a template in the
Startup folder. Can it be made automatic ?
- The template has an AutoExec macro, but it failed to execute when I
restarted Word, even after I had activated the template.
So any user who gets my program now has two unfamiliar things to do: activate
the template and run Auto_Exec. I'd like to remove these steps. Can anyone
suggest what I'm missing?
