Template normal.dot in MSWORD => simiilar in MS Powerpoint?

Hello,

I have a little question about a certain feature in MS Powerpoint 2003.
When you open MS Word the standard template is named normal.dot. This
template is standardly used for new documents. This comes in handy, because
all the adjustments that we apply to the Normal.dot-template are also
adjusted on all new documents. Is there a similar way to have this kind of
template in MS Powerpoint 2003?

Thank you for helping me out!

Changes to templates in PPT are not retroactive, so they don't do anything
to existing presentations.

If you want to change *new* presentations based on the "normal" template in
PPT, you must make the changes to the blank.POT or blank presentation.POT
file, and then presentations you create will take on those attributes.

Create a default "blank" presentation with your own defaults
