template problem

I have created a template and have no problems with it. However, others are
trying to use it and finding that the file size of the documents they create
with it are enormous and unwieldy. I do not have this problem. I have
opened up the documents they create and see many more styles than I created
in the template, and I'm thinking that might be it. Another problem they are
having is doing something like adding bold to one place, and it changes it in
other places. I checked and they do not have the "Define styles based on
your formatting" option selected. Any other ideas?

By the way, I have 2002, some of us have 2002 and others have 2003. The
problem seems to occur regardless of which version they have though.

See

Go through all the styles in your template and make sure
"Automatically update" is turned off.
