I created a Master using the "Student / Home Office" edition of Office 2007.
In it a created placeholders for graphics and text in an arrangement of 8
graphics fields and 8 text files on a slide and everything was working great.
My problems started when I upgraded to the "Enterprise" edition of Office
2007:
I discovered that the original picture place holders were no longer included
the 'insert a picture from file" option. So I changed the placeholder to the
picture specific insert.
And now I am experiencing some strange problems: First, if I "reset" the
slide to conform to the template, the picture fields scramble into new
positions on the slide. It however, does not scramble to text fields.
Second, if I want to insert a graphic into the placeholder, the image is
scaled to fit its smallest dimension into the placeholder and crops the
largest dimension. to the placeholder's boundaries. It will also "reset" to
this arrangement.
How can I prevent the "reset" from scrambling the picture locations?
And
Is there a setting to ensure the picture insert to fit the entire image into
the placeholder without cropping?
