Template problems

I have exactly the same problem with word 2004 for mac osx.

Made a template as I would expect (and have done dozens of times on a
WinPC), Opena blank document , create a useful layout and import
company header etc. Save as ... format: template.

From then on cannot use it. Cannot open a document copy from it,
cannot use the project gallery to do any logical or useful with it.
(such as open as a document), cannot open it as a document from inside
a folder, cannot save as 'document'.

Word help has the absurd cut and paste advice.

Thanks to this post I can get on with my work. But seriously, 5 years
later and its the same problem.

Well, I am sorry you have "exactly the same problem". But since you did not
say what that problem is, I am a little mystified as to what you want us to
help you with?

Please be aware that the people delivering help in here are not looking at
the same server you are. If you do not put up your OWN post, or at least
quote the post you are replying to (as I have, below...) then we have no
idea what you are talking about.

Sorry about that.
