Template to creditor requesting a lower APR?

I would like to request a lower APR to my creditor. My relationship with this
financial institution has been good and in good standing. How can I make this
request formally and in a business like manner?

Why not just call them and ask them what you need to do? Most of them
will take care of you over the phone an a formal request isn't
necessary.

If you still want to make a formal request then simply type a letter.
The text you used to ask this question sounded pretty good - just
build on what you already have.
