Hi everubody, I noticed something weird.
When I import my macros using the word vb interface, I can move m
userforms in my word window. When I put everything in a template that
put in the startup folder of Word, i can't move my userforms with th
mouse ?
can somebody can gine me an explanation and a way to avoid that ?
Thanx

Hi Lyne,

That is by design. As templates stored in the Startup Folder are loaded
when Word is started, it is not appropriate for them to be able to be
edited.

Hi Constance,

Do you mean, the code in the templates is executed, that it uses .Show to
display UserForms, and that you can't drag these with the mouse?

Can you explain what you mean by "import using the word vb interface"?

How are these macros being called when the template is in the Startup
folder? (Toolbar buttons, or... ?)

Which version of Word are we dealing with?

Hi Cindy,
sorry i posted my answer on the wrong thread ;)))
Here are the answers to your questions :

Yes the code in the templates is executed, that it uses .Show to
display UserForms, and I can't drag these with the mouse
It happens but not everytime
Can you explain what you mean by "import using the word v
interface"?
In fact I import the macros and userforms in Mcrosoft Visual Basic i
the Normal project
How are these macros being called when the template is in the Startup
folder? (Toolbar buttons, or... ?)
The macros are called using the menu Tools->Macros
Which version of Word are we dealing with?
I use Word 2000

Thanks
