Template with linked documents

Hi,
I want to create a project template with linked documents
so, when ever I connect to the project server I'll be
able to open a project from this template and modify it's
content and documents.
As I see it, every time that the user choose to open a
project from this template, a copy of all the linked
documents attached to the project file will have to be
created.
Any ideas?
