I have microsoft office 97 and work and am having
problems with the tracking changes feature. Someone at
the office has created a template and we use the
normal.dot that came with word. If I get a document from
someone that has previously had the tracking on with
revision bars the first thing I have to do is accept all
the changes and the revision bars are gone. Then I
double click on the TRK at the bottom of word to turn
them back on so I can make changes to my document and all
of a sudden there are a lot of revision bars.
Apparently, there are a lot of us with this same
problem. Some people double click the TRK at the bottom
then immediately click on undo and it gets rid of the
revision bars, however that does not work for me. How do
I fix this problem? Is this problem within Word, the
template or what. Thank You.
