Templates and Macros don't work after upgrade

One of my customers installed a new PC with Windows XP
Pro and Office XP. Copied Word templates including macros
that were working from a PC running Ofice 2000 to the new
PC, but the templates no longer work the same. For
example, one template that brings up a form and a window
to select a folder from a directory now just brings up
the form. Another provided a date selection pop-up,
which after entry would insert that date in several
places on the form. I'm sure I must be missing copying
some vital piece from the old PC, but don't know what.
These templates were created some time ago as an
application for entering patient data and the creators
are no longer available.
Thanks

Hi Al,

It sounds like you may be missing some ActiveX controls and/or the
Project is missing some references. Check the Project on the old PC
and go to Tools/References and Tools/Additional Components and compare
the differences.

For example it sounds like you do not have the Calendar control and a
Tree View control.

Thanks Beth! I was able to get the two PC's side-by-side
today, and found that I had not copied the correct
Normal.dot to the new PC's template folder. Your
suggestion helped.
