Templates for Office 2008

I've installed Office 2008 standard edition a few days back and I noticed
there were no Word templates at all, not even a folder with some defaults.
The CD was useless as well since there are no templates there either (or I'm
missing something when looking). To my surprise there's no templates on the
Mactopia website like there were for Office 2004. Any hints would be very
welcome. I have some documents created with Word 2004 that display very
"plain."

Hmm... Something strange must have happened to your installation. When
you open the Project Gallery, do you really see no templates at all?

A normal install of Office 2008 includes over 100 Word templates alone.
They're stored in the

Applications:Microsoft Office 2008:Office:Media:Templates

folder.

Yes, the MacTopia site is screwed up, but it's being fixed. In the mean
time you can use PC Word templates found at:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/results.aspx?qu=resume&av...

Instructions for using them in Mac Word can be found at:
