Templates in Word 2003

P

Since upgrading to Office 2003, when in Word and select file then new
to open templates on the Server, the templates are taking a long time
to open - any ides on how to speed this up;
also there are Microsoft templates folders being displayed but these
are not on our Server - how do I remove these additional templates.

Try, in Word, Tools>Options>File Locations
That should give you the path of the default templates.
I cannot tell you whether if you modify the template path to the server
locations, that would cause any problems
